Enjoy its beautiful location nestled delightfully in a tiny hamlet on the border of two of England's most beautiful counties, Gloucestershire and Herefordshire, surrounded by glorious countryside.  Situated between the market towns of Newent and Ross-on-Wye, Glencree is set on a hillside and ideally placed for walking, touring and exploring. 

There is a host of interesting and enjoyable places to visit in and around the area.  Visit the magnificent Cathedrals of Gloucester and Hereford.  Discover the picturesque yellow golden limestone towns and villages of the Cotswolds or take the Black and White Villages Trail of Herefordshire.  Nearby is the beautiful Royal Forest of Dean where an array of interests can be found.  The spectacular Wye Valley, Symonds Yat, Malvern Hills and Brecon Beacons are not far away.  The Regency town of Cheltenham is easily accessible as is Tewkesbury with its historic Abbey.  The Alma Music and Real Ale Festival at nearby Linton is a weekend in June not to be missed.  Gorsley Flower Festival is held over the August Bank Holiday and is a sight to be seen.

As well as interesting places to visit there are also pubs to feast in.  Stroll along wonderful walks with amazing views or try out the excellent nearby golf courses - the choice is yours.
